First attempt at using them, I was turned away because they automatically assumed my vehicle issue was a warranty issue. Didn’t even want to bother walking out to the vehicle to have a look/hear sound. Second attempt at using them, they were too busy and still couldn’t take a brief look at vehicle to give diagnosis or see if they could help me out. At the time I came in, they had 3 people standing around in garage area assembling new equipment, not working on any other vehicles. Maybe they were busy, maybe not, but my perception showed 3 people who were inconvenienced from me coming by. They also assumed I was there going to Mechys next door and didn’t like me parking in front of the garage bays. I parked there because I was hoping for a quick help. I’ll take my business elsewhere. UPDATE: And your response confirms the accuracy of my review. You take care of customers when it’s only convenient for you. I’m sorry I wanted your help to diagnose and use your services.

Far from home and with a suddenly dead battery, I found Smith &Taylor Automotive in Safford, AZ. Even though they had a shop full of cars in for repair, they moved me to the front of the line and had me in and out with a new battery in less than an hour. AND I got a discount on labor for being a AAA member. I'm a very satisfied customer.

I have used Smith and Taylor for years on a number of older vehicles. Although I have never expected miracles on any of them, that is exactly what I get. I have never been disappointed even after taking my trucks to them after someone else has worked on it. For all they do for the community, the miracles they perform on my vehicles and just the great personalities of the people who work there make me want to say I want Smith and Taylor working on my vehicles.

When I first moved to Gila Valley, I needed to have my power steering repaired. I heard about Smith and Taylor and decided to give them a try. Before moving here from the Phoenix area, I received an estimate for the work but decided to wait ‘til after the move. The quote I received from Smith and Taylor was far less than the one I received from the other place. Beyond that, the final bill was even less than the estimate they gave me.
