Eighth Street Fitness Club and Apartments

I workout here 5 days a week. They have a sauna, pool, weights, machines, treadmills, a stair stepper, ellipticals, stationary bikes and racket ball courts.

We’ve been going to this gym for a month now and so far we like it. The sauna, the pool and salon are a big plus.

It's a good gym.

A lot if variety of equipment! Pool, sauna!!!! Pretty clean all around. Can get busy cause of the college kids that use the facilities.

To live/workout here. Let’s start with Apple, when moving out she denied me my deposit fee because I didn’t “notify” them when I moved. Now, living at cotas apartment, which is managed by Apple and her husband Chuck. Apple said she had not been told I was moving, I called the number of cota apartments and guess who picks up, Chuck, who told me to get an lease application from his wife Apple. Apple lied straight to her teeth about having no clue of me moving and then said “if you get someone to move in I’ll give you your deposit” next two days I had people asking for the apartment and I would give them the number to contact 8th Street apartment management . When I came and talked to her that day about the people interested in the space, she denied saying anything about giving me my deposit or getting people to move in to the apartment. On top of that tried to make me pay rent for the next month. Needless to say they didn’t get any money, only took my deposit. So today Nov. 19th, I went to the gym and guess who was there, Apple, just watching me like a hawk. Apple then proceeded to tell one of the staff that I wasn’t a member when you can clearly see I have and 8th street key tag on my key chain. before heading out the staff member stopped me and ask if I was a member while Apple sat behind the wall peeking around the corner while the kind lady was talking to me, I told her what Apple had did. Didn’t know what she was trying to prove and not going to say my skin color is involved at all. She likes to hustle people and to switch up her stories. Don’t get me wrong, Apple definitely was a nice lady until it came time to give me my deposit. Was upset she couldn’t hustle me and expected me to just lay down and take it. Great gym though, staff is cool, management should be replace.
