The Historical Marker is just that a marker with a descriptive plaque. The replica of the fort is at a park on the other side of town.

All that I saw was a rock with some words on it nothing like the pictures of Fort walls and such maybe I wasn't at the right location but that's where Google Maps had to go

Nice mark but hard to imagine in it's setting. The reconstructed fort is about a mile away.
