Refund advances are determined by your credit score not by your return total, this was never brought up to me and when I called the lady told me I signed the papers which meant I should have known it was in the fine print along with a billion other words!!!! I made it very clear the only reason I’m coming here instead of Jackson Hewitt is for the higher amount of advance I should receive, never have had a problem with Jackson Hewitt before, I only needed a higher advance and now I have nothing. My first experience with HNRBlock will be me last! Follow up for my concern was horrible too, they waited until IRS had accepted my refund to call me back and say there’s nothing they could do anymore! Stop tricking people! Just be honest from the beginning and let them know credit will be a factor I would have understood and gone somewhere else!
