I don’t know how Jefferson County qualified Joanne Miller to be a Guardian Ad Litem. She is extremely biased and will quickly pick her favorite parent. She completely ignores the other parent and doesn’t return phone calls. She makes recommendations in court that she’s unable to explain without talking to BOTH parents. She’s disrespectful and rude to the parent she doesn’t like. She NEVER took the time to talk to me about decisions she made against me. She never took the time to meet my child and I had to pay for half of her fees! Joanne Miller should not be a GAL supposedly looking out for the child’s best interest.

By far the worst attorney in Jefferson Co. She was out GAL for my minor son. She ignored calls from me trying to give her updates on whats going on. And then when she found out I made a post on a social media site sharing my opinion she finally called back. And in that call she was so condescending and rude to me. Speaking in a high pitched sarcastic voice telling me I could come in and say it to her face! So unprofessional! I responded with this is how you speak to the mother of the child you're supposed to look out for the best interest in? Then when I met with her, she was nice as pie. Giving me a sob story about her daugter being in an accident blah blah blah, as if I'm supposed to care that she was doing the worst job possible on our case. In court, ahe wanted to take my son away from me giving me every other Saturday till Sunday. I assume she has a tie somehow to my ex and my oldeat daughters ex that she literally wouldn't listen to a word I said. She was completely biased the whole 8 months it was disgusting. Thank the Lord the Commissioner had a great head on his shoulders and I did not lose amy time with my son at all even with her recommendation that I should. I have talked to several people about their cases where she has been GAL for their kids and she has taken kids away from parents who have been involved in their kids lives for their whole life! She is the worst attorney I have ever come across, much less an evil person who seems to enjoy taking children away from good parents who happen to be going through a hard time. Complete disgrace to the attorney world and I would be embarrassed to even associate with someone like this.
