Been climbing this hunk of rock since 1969 or 1970. It's changed a little over the years. For instance there is a pretty good nick in the starboard side of the bow that didn't used to be there. It makes transversing the bow a little more difficult than it used to be. But hey, it's bound to erode a bit.nnI give it two thumbs up.
It's a nice trail that has a lot of great rock faced views. There is plenty of plant life and the trails are well maintained
Definitely worth the hike up. Such a great view!
Great view even got to see a goose nesting
Lovely picnic spot with a nice view of both walls of the dell. A couple of shelters with tables, a pit toilet that was tolerably clean, and two different hiking trails. First time I ever saw a selfie sign at a public park--I have mixed feelings about the concept, but I'm old.
