My boyfriend & I were in a bad car accident this past Jan. There were 3 insurance companies involved, & of course no one wanted to take responsibility. They kept calling both of us & pressuring us to make a statement even though I made it very clear that we both were suffering with concussions. Someone recommended Mr Hertel & we made an appt with him. He has gone above & beyond to find out what happened that night with the car that caused the accident. He's very knowledgeable, very personal, & sympathetic to our situation. I would highly recommend his law firm.

I got 2 years probation and a felony identity theft charge for getting pulled over and saying I was my identical twin brother. No prior felonies or drug charges. He wouldn't have even been faced with a speeding ticket. Hertel said they had reasonable grounds to stop me since a village worker seen me driving a week prior and that I was in the area. People who see me regularly get me and my brother confused and I definitely feel like he wasn't representing my interests. Especially when I had to sign a paper that said I wasn't acting on the behalf of the individual when my twin brother told me he would have vouched in court for ne .nMy biggest mistake was hiring him.

Sarah is a smart, kind, hardworking woman but the communication is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL...I have sent multiple emails and phone calls and received ONE email back to which I responded and never heard back from again...Very difficult to get in contact with and get questions answered. Aside from that she is a fantastic lawyer and smart woman.
