I really love this store. I see a lot of people on here saying the staff were rude but I have never had anyone there be rude to me personally. I also noticed people saying they wouldn't take certain clothes and the things they did take they got barely any money for. I think of it this way... as business women they want their clothes to actually sell. They want in-season clothes that look new. Plato's isn't Savers and that's why I like it. If they don't think the clothes will sell, then they won't take them. It wouldn't be smart for them as a business to buy clothes that don't sell. As for not getting tons of money from your clothes, most thrift stores don't pay you any money for your clothes. You should be thankful for the small amount of money you are getting back. The only suggestion I do have for this store is to open up a public bathroom.

Wouldn’t recommend. Rude staff, 3 bags of barely-worn items brought in, to be told that they’ve been “well- used” and clearly show signs of wear and tear. Not worth the drive, or the two hour wait it took them to look through the clothes. Will not be coming back here again to sell or to buy. You’ve become very overpriced. You’re not a store in the mall, you’re a second-hand shop that used to pride yourselves on buying clothes and making that part of your brand. Now you can’t utter more than a few words to your customers, and typically don’t actually take the time to look through what’s being brought in. I’m not sure when sweaters and sweatshirts with tags on them and brand new shoes became coined as “well-used”, but that’s what you’ll get here.

I had brought in some clothes and then later realized that I had accidentally put in one of my brand new gymshark tops in there. I called right away and asked them if I could come in to get it and that I’d give them the money back because I had accidentally put it in with the pile. I didn’t get to see which items the girl took otherwise I would have noticed my top. When I called the girl was extremely rude to me about it and basically told me to deal with it. Definitely won’t be selling to them again or going in there.
