The team at Gander RV of Eau Claire were absolutely amazing! They all went above and beyond to make sure our family went home with the fifth wheel of our dreams. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new RV, to stop in here and deal with these guys. You wont be disappointed!
On my search to find a cover for my camper. Excellent service by one of the fellas there (forgot his name - SORRY!!). It was in the evening and we took the dimensions of my camper and went through all of the possible scenarios of covers available. Spent a considerable amount of time. Perfect ending - perfect cover - very happy with everything. OH!! And it's Pet Friendly - so my blind dog was able to join us!
The salesman told us the our new rv came with Maxxair's, it did not. The salesman told us that each slide out had separate controls, they do not. In short, the salesman knew very little about what he was selling. Then, the finance guy tried to charge us an extra $40,000.00 for our RV. It's a good thing that I pulled out my calculator or he might have gotten away with it. Then they delivered the RV to my campsite, the driver was clueless. He could have made backing up a trailer more difficult. Then came the walk through. Again, the driver was clueless. He only answered about 5 questions out of 40 or so that I had. Calling the store to try to get answers was just as difficult. Even the technician didn't have answers. Everyone that we talked to was very nice. They just don't know what they are doing or what they are talking about. I'm glad that I have 20 plus years as an RV technician to call on because otherwise, we would have walked out without a second look. We bought our RV because it had the floor plan that we wanted. We just wish that we could have found one at a different dealership. I would not recommend anyone buying from the Eau Claire store unless you know exactly what you are doing.
Had a lot of problems with the camper we purchased. Still waiting to get them taken care of. Also, found out we were not told everything about the camper we purchased. Installation was quite shotty. Need to redo that. Already fixed the pipes from holding tank to sewer. Didn't use right size. Found gum and dirt under bed so know it was not cleaned for us. Didn't get any reply from Gander Mountain until I involved Camping World. At this point, I cannot recommend them.
