The person who helped me was incredibly helpful. Despite being a first year associate, the knowledge she had and confirming any unsure information with other team members for accuracy showed a great care about making sure that me, as a client of H&R Block, would get the best refund possible. Within that capacity, she was also willing to start a second look at a tax refund from three years ago and worked diligently to cover all bases and was caring and understanding about how long the process would be. Would highly recommend her to others for a tax consultant.

I wish I had known how much it would cost me from the beginning. It sounded like it was fixed cost and then things just piled up. Second of all, my accountant was not knowledgeable and I felt like I paid too much for the trouble I went through. It was a bit ridiculous to hear excuse that she did not know because it was something new. As an expert accountant I think it is also their job to keep up with knowledge. I will not come back here. It is absolutely ridiculous to hear excuses such as I did not know because it is something new from last year. And I'm not paying expensive for trouble. I came hear to seek comfort and ease in filing.

Had an appointment with Kathy. We arrived 5 minutes early and when our appointment was supposed to start were informed by another associated that she was with another customer. We waited for 30 minutes and heard nothing. Ended up leaving and we never got a follow up call apologizing or asking if we wanted to reschedule. Quite the unprofessional experience. While i'm sure they're skilled at what they do, it doesn't mean much if they aren't willing or able to attend their own appointments. I spent the rest of the night trying to figure out the headache of taxes myself but ended up filling online for $0 total with H&R block's online service, so at least the experience saved me $300?
