Loved it! One of my favorite DC Land trust sites - which is saying a lot. Great combination of beautiful forest and lake. We'll marked, easy trails. Beautiful and peaceful

Enjoyed walking the trail out to the Pier. Then walked on the beach. People were sunbathing and swimming and having fun.nThe reason only a four star no restrooms available.

This place was beautiful and we enjoyed the beach and the view of coast guard station and light house was spectacular.

Great place in the heart of Door County yet with minimal tourists. There are a hiking trails away from the water, a beach for swimming, and the south pier that serves as the entrance to the Sturgeon Bay Shipping Canal. The parking lot holds about 4 cars but the approach road has little traffic so you could park on the shoulder.

What a treasure! Lovely little beach on Lake Michigan, looking out to the red lighthouse at the mouth of the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal.
