I like this shop but will not return. If you, as the shop owner, raise a question that is political in nature, outside your shop you are inviting a response. What I found when I asked a question referring to her sign (asked in a polite manner) I was accused of looking for an argument and invited to leave her shop. I wasn't looking for an argument, I was simply trying to understand her rationale for posting the sign. I believe that we all have the freedom to express ourselves but when we do in a public forum we need to be open to having a dialogue about a possible opposing viewpoint. I feel really sad about the entire episode.
Moonbird is my favorite store/gallery in Door County! Desiree has gone above and beyond to create a beautiful, warm, & welcoming environment. Inside you will find a wide variety of gorgeous handmade art, home decor, clothes, shoes, accessories, jewelry and much more, all at a wide variety of price points. This shop is definitely worth checking out, and be prepared to bring a little piece of it home with you
Lovely selection! Everything from clothes, jewelry, and accessories to art and pottery. Easy to find multiple pieces that I wanted (and bought)! Will be stopping by again on my next trip to Door County!
