Sister Bay is a nice town near the end of Door County. Lots of shops and restaurants and a nice harbor and beach to hang out at during the day.nnDefinitely worth the visit. The further you drive east into Door County, the better it gets.

My fiancé and I trekked to Sister Bay for a little bit of solitude from Chicago’s chaos. Glad we did. I’ve been boasting about this gem since we visited three weeks ago. Pontoon rentals are reasonably priced. 24-hour fishing licenses are cheap. Our lodgings at a local cabin was a dream. Just check it out. You won’t be disappointed. The smoked fish at the local smoke house (20 minutes from Sister Bay) is worth a 10 hour drive.

It is so pretty here. The beach is right in the center of town. There are a bunch of small shops in the area and there is a cool amphitheater. Their playground is nice and their beach is long with plenty of space for a good amount of people. There is a peer, but currently (6/20/2020), the water level of Lake Michigan is so high that the peer is completely underwater. I recommend going here, or just to Sister Bay in general, if you're going on a trip to Door County.

I love this area of Wisconsin. It is so beautiful with so much to offer. If you have an opportunity to drive her you wont regret it.

Nice beach area with a great park for the kids. The dock that's been underwater forever is cool to walk out on (but slippery) and jump or swim off of. The water gets deep quick and can be pretty choppy so not the most 'young child friendly' water (definitely bring a lifejacket for the little ones!) Lots of parking nearby too, which is hard to find in Door County.
