Super great prices on everything. The inflatable tubes were only $6. The staff was also incredibly nice and helpful. Highly recommend them for your camping needs at peninsula state park!

Charged us for an additional drink we didn’t order. After waiting more than 15 minutes for our burgers, the order was wrong again- one of our sandwiches that we paid for was missing. The burgers were awful. Barely above room temperature and absolutely no flavor. It’s clear they had been sitting in a pan of water or something similar. What a waste of money at $6 each, and that’s with no sides. Didn’t bother to complain because the line of customers was a mile long. Watched as another customer asked for someone to simply hand them their ice cream that had been sitting “for five minutes.” Very disappointing. On a positive note, the staff was friendly.

Great prices - cheaper in many cases than in town. People complaining about the prices forget a few things: the very small store is NOT run or subsidized by the park (the smaller the square footage of a store the higher the “rent” an item has to pay to even be on the shelf); all stock has to come into the park via the same small, traffic clogged highway from Green Bay that you do to get here (and is why EVERYTHING is at least a little more expensive in Door County); prices could be a lot higher - they have a “captive” clientele and many people would still buy their things there instead of going all the way into town; and finally, the owner has only five months to make an annual income and pay their staff.nnI for one have been pleasantly surprised by the incredible variety of values I’ve found there. And to respond to a couple other recent comments - whose fault is it really if food is over cooked and they don’t take it back to the counter and ask for another? Take some personal responsibility, the staff is REALLY busy. I do, however agree about the sign and the way the woman spoke to you. Both need improvement. Really, $35 for a new sweater at the souvenir clothing store? Sounds like a deal - it’s been a bit chillier than I expected and I’m going to go snap one up.

Friendly helpful people. Area is kept as clean as possible despite the fact that so many things are run down. The little umbrella tables next to the store or the only place you can get spotty Wi-Fi.
