Just a nice little park with a surprising number of short nature trails to explore. You can either park at the beach parking lot, or, if you are just wanting to see the Range Light and and associated buildings, there's a better parking lot right off of Q. But it's fun to park at the beach lot, and then walks down Ridges Road, which takes you right to the boardwalk that leads up to the Range Light itself. Really enjoyed the nature trails, while it's not much more than a walk though the woods with a few clearings here & there, it was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon.nnRECOMMENDED!

If your a lighthouse person go see this. It really isn't much and we actually drove past it thinking it could not possibly be what we were looking for.nI'm not a lighthouser so it wasn't very impressive but a lighthouse it is and there it stands.nThere are many more Door County lighthouses to see. If you miss one, you can miss this one.

Don't trust where Google takes you to view the range lights. You'll end up parking at the beach and having to walk along the road a short distance. The upper rangelight is a better parking spot.nThe rangelights were a little underwhelming in size, but that in no way took away from their beauty. If you're a photographer, the boardwalk connecting the upper and lower rangelights nicely builds a good photo for you. The lake in the distance shines in the photos as well.nDefinitely worth a stop, even if just for a few minutes.

Beautiful area. We love the whole Door County. Especially during cherry season.
