I rented a unit from this facility but it was more of a greenhouse than storage unit roof constantly leaked as well as water coming in under the door. Apparently nobody works in the office and nobody knows how to run this business or maintain the property nobody will even rerun phone calls. Long story short. Great place to store somebody else’s stuff that you want stolen or destroyed.
Christine has outstanding customer service and follow through. She kept in regular contact with me via phone and email regarding unit availability as I was trying to navigate the many hurdles of a long-distance move. She patiently answered all my questions, and was very helpful throughout the whole process.
Staff helpful and on-site. Rates the same as everywhere else. (Make sure your unit is higher up so it won’t get flooded in Madison’s frequent high rains.)
Shady and unethical business!nnIn short and omitting a lot of finer details, I had my unit robbed. Oddly, it was the only one to have its lock cut off and emptied. And the disinterested response I received from the lady in the office who leased the unit to me after it happened (who by the way also knew exactly what I was storing in there from a conversation we shared and questions I had before signing) along with her unwillingness to work with the police or even return the detectives calls, makes me feel like it may have been an inside job.nnLook elsewhere and pick a business that promotes better ethics and actually has some sort of security in place and well lit space.
Can I give it zero stars? The worst business in Madison. It took six months before my partner was finally able to empty her storage unit after trying on five different occasions. Closed during hours they're supposed to be open, emails bounce, no call to let her know they'd changed her lock to one of theirs. Storage unit flooded, was broken into and a box stolen. Management was RUDE and refused to do anything to change our horrible experience. Do not walk but RUN to any other business. You'd do better leaving your stuff on the side of the road.
