Sandra told us we didn't have to pay the preparation fee that our was going to be taken out of our state return. We waited the appropriate time frame to get our return and when we called to find out where are return was at they told us our taxes were never filed. Called h&r to see what was going on they told us that the taxes weren't filed because we didn't pay. Now since we owed to federal we ate going to owe even more money. They never even tried to contact us to let us know that it wasn't filed and why. Now we're being told that we were given incorrect info about them taking then payment from our state refund. This was my first time using them. I wanted to make sure that our taxes were done correct and on time. I feel like such an idiot for trusting them.

Carl (Dennis) Lively, you are the best! I have been doing my own income text return for the longest. But this year, I had a very complicated income tax that I just needed professional help. And Dennis helped me. I moved from CA to AZ, plus I had a second job here too. So, needless to say, I had a very VERY weird and complicated case. But Dennis helped me figure it all out. Plus, he helped me get the BEST income tax return!! Thanks again Dennis!

Sandra was great. Very helpful and efficient. Too expensive. $100 and $40 upcharges just to enter two additional forms is ridiculous. My file was very simple, took no more than 30 minutes to complete , and should not have cost $300.

Tax associate didn’t ask if anyone referred me. Then when I brought up my sister referring me she said there was nothing she could do at the end. So I was stuck paying the full upfront. They also charge a hidden fee of $40 if you take it out of your refund.
