I am so in impressed with Mel at Salon M in Middleton. I have never been so in love with my hair. I have always worn clip in hair extensions and needed a change. Mel had introduced me to hand tied hair extensions. They are amazing and way less effort then the clip ins. I don't know why I had not done them sooner or where they have been my whole life. I recommend 100% to get them done. I don't think I will ever go back to anything else. Thank you for making me feel like a movie star!!

Melanie has been doing my hair since I was three years old. I am now 22 years old and my sister, mom and I have loved coming to Melanie over the years. She is so experienced and always leaves me with exactly the cut or color I was looking for. I recently got hand tied extensions installed by Melanie. I compete within the Miss America Organization and have tried many different kinds of extensions in the past from tape ins, to beaded, to bonded extensions. I got the sew in extensions from Melanie and I am OBSESSED. I will never get any kind of extension but these ever again. I have very fine, thin hair and the extensions do not pull at all on my natural hair and were not as timely to install. Melanie was able to perfectly blend the extensions to my natural hair. In addition to getting extensions, Melanie has colored my hair for years. I had to go to other stylists when I was away at college and never once was anyone else able to make my blonde highlights look so natural! Melanie and her daughter Kendra are such great people and experienced stylists! My family and I love coming to them :)

I absolutely love going to Mel to get my hair cut! She is an amazing stylist and I’m always entertained with fun chats. I always leave there super happy with my hair. The environment is also super cute and private. Love this place, highly recommend!!

I can not say enough about Studio M!! If you’ve ever thought about getting hair extensions I highly recommend to go see Melanie or Kendra!! I have always had thin baby fine hair and wanted thick full hair. Melanie gave me what I’ve always wanted and I am loving them!!

I met Mel after I had been to my regular beautician, who after coloring my hair several times before, made a mistake and then tried to fix the mistake for four hours. Mel’s mother-in-law saw my hair and called her and she fit me in that night. She not only fixed it but it turned out better than it ever looked, I haven’t been any place else since. Kendra and Mel both have a ton of experience, the salon is immaculate, and I always feel safe getting my hair done. You cannot find a better salon in Dane or Sauk County!
