Tony Bud's Sewing

I entered into a contract with Becky at Tony Bud's Sewing to custom design a wedding dress for my wedding on 10/31/20. I paid for a total of $520.00. As per the contract, the dress would be shipped on 10/12/20, which it was not. After several attempts to contact the seller about the 10/12/20 shipping date I was informed there were personal problems and that the dress would now be shipped 10/24/20. The dress was not shipped on 10/24 and I again made multiple attempts to contact Becky via both text and email. On 10/26/20 I filed a request for refund in full through PayPal. I was then contacted and was given an apology, sighting additional personal problems. I was informed the dress would ship via FedEx overnight and would include a partial refund for my trouble. Only then were pics of the completed dress sent. When I mentioned the dress was incorrect the blame was laid on the fabrics that I chose and not on the poor craftsmanship that went into making it. I did receive on 10/28/20 via FedEx with no partial refund included as promised. I was more disappointed in the dress in person than I was in the pictures. This dress looks like it was a super rush job and the quality is about what I would find in a Halloween costume. I was could not wear this dress and was forced to purchase a new dress at the last minute to wear at my wedding. A PayPal dispute was filed and I was informed she will only reimburse me 2 payments which is less than half of what I paid for it. She told me I have to pay for her time, well the time I spent trying to contact her over and over is worth something as well. I should have been tipped off when it took her literally 10 attempts to email the contract to me in the beginning. This whole experience has been a nightmare. Communication is extremely poor and this has been the worst customer service. I have been very patient and forgiving throughout the 5 month ordeal because she assured me she was really busy but would be happy to squeeze me in. A refund of less than half is unacceptable. Step up and quit screwing over your customers.

I ordered a cosplay costume in mid to early last year. I know Covid screwed up a lot of things, and has made life difficult for Becky, but that doesn't excuse what she has done. She has completely cut off communication, doesn't answer texts or emails, and has given me no evidence that she has even started my project yet. I have been as patient as I can be, and even gave her over $300 to help her during the pandemic, to cover her fees that were paid to Paypal. She is 6 months late on my project, and I'm done with the waiting. I'm sorry if she is having a hard time, but I have also paid over $1800 for my project, and she has had ample time to get this done. She is a business owner, and if she can't handle the orders, it's time to start shelling out some refunds. My patience and kindness has reached an end. This is what happens when you don't communicate, or do your job.

I purchased some Harry Potter robes from here and I absolutely LOVE them. I'm a big girl, and they fit so well! So roomy and flowy and nice! The fabric is high quality, and the seams are very well done. I recommend Tony Bud's to all my Slytherin friends now and I love all the compliments I get when I go to conventions in it. 12/10 would buy again and again.
