I’ve been practicing yoga on an irregular basis for two year. I’ve recently had the desire to dive deeper into my practice so I sought advanced education from Cari Sims. She was extremely knowledgeable not only with proper alignment and breathing, but Cari is also impressively educated with muscle function. After our session, Cari followed up with me to go over her recommendations and offered additional information on how to improve my shoulder and hip mobility. The next day I attended a flow class and was pleasantly surprised with the awareness I had gained with my poses and how my breathing had vastly improved. I was able to relax into some of the more challenging positions as well as having more ability to activate my core muscles throughout the entire class. This has given me a new sense of excitement to practice yoga. I highly recommend working with Cari to improve mobility and awareness, so you too can practice yoga with purpose.

You will not find a better yoga instructor around. Cari is whole-heartedly invested in individualizing and empowering you in your practice of yoga, whatever that looks like. Her classes are challenging and rejuvenating, helping you to move your body in more freeing ways and pointing out how even subtle shifts in how one moves can have a huge impact. Cari is invested in making yoga available to ALL. Do yourself a favor, and take her class.nBy the way, Cory is awesome too!

Finding iGO Fitness was a very happy accident. They are so much more than a regular gym or yoga studio. They are very committed to doing things correctly and providing quality programming. I strongly endorse them and am so happy to be joining as a regular member!

My yoga experience at IGO Fitness was terrible! The instructor, Cari Sims, was about as condescending and rude as a person could possibly be! She snickered at my questions on more than one occasion and excused herself for a moment, only to proceed to make fun of me and my 7 year old son to a coworker of hers, in the next room, thinking that we couldn’t hear her! I don’t know whether to be appalled by her behavior or stupidity! Take my advice, do NOT visit this yoga studio! As long as Cari Sims is a “teacher” there, this place is doomed to failure!

Every girl in my house has taken a class from iGO Fitness, my youngest took Yoga for Kids, my oldest took ACL Injury Resistance Program and Youth Athlete Development and I took Yoga for Newbies. Owners Cory and Cari treated my family like their family. Very accommodating, friendly, and KNOWLEDGEABLE! The best part is they can translate all of the physiology, personal training, athletic development and yoga terms & techniques into instructions we can actually understand. For example, this was my third yoga class (first with iGO) and it was the first time I actually UNDERSTOOD what I was supposed to be doing! Cari accommodated for my body type and explained things in a way I got the very best experience. Plus, they keep their classes VERY small so we always get personalized attention.
