I’ve been in therapy for 20+ years without ever going deep into the real issues. Scott was direct in his no-nonsense approach and helped me develop the skills to pull myself out of the dark hole I had put myself in for years. If you don’t want to put in real, life changing work, this is not the practice for you. Be prepared and willing to change and you’ll do well.
Scott helped me leave an unhealthy relationship. It wasn’t easy but he supported me the whole time. I had many realizations with him, let go of some emotional blockages, and was able to realize I really did deserve more. I am now in a committed relationship and am more happy than I ever thought I could be. If you’re feeling like there’s more to life, but you don’t feel like you are getting there by yourself, don’t hesitate and just call!

I’ve been working with Scott for over a year. It feels so good to have someone who really understands me. Very professional and very helpful.
Scott dropped me because I informed him I was not happy with the advice he had given. He stated unless I paid for and completed additional sessions, he wouldn’t work with me. He also complained about how he felt hurt by how I reacted to his negative attitude. He gave good advice on basic psychology theory and concepts, but reacts to differences in opinion drastically and unprofessionally. He also would not provide my other healthcare providers with requests for his notes. I’m posting this review about a year later because I found one of his old business cards he asked me to pass out. In addition, he and his wife were just starting the company and still needed to grow so I didn’t want to intially write this review. However, seeing the others reviews made me want to help others avoid what may not be a good therapeutic fit. As others have mentioned, he did not provide any help finding other services, and did not give me any warning that he was upset at me for disagreeing with his advice. When I reached out to explain how I felt and to ask him to verify a letter he had written on my behalf, he never responded. For what it is worth, I’m glad I didn’t take his advice because I ended up with a better outcome than he anticipated.
