My review is long overdue. Some years back the center hosted our Boy Scout Troop and provided a wonderful and educationional presentation on Islam and what it means to adhere to the Muslim faith. Cudos to the volunteers for providing a place for UW students and faculty to practice their faith easily accessable to campus dwellers.

Islamic center of Madison was the first mosque that was established in the greater Madison area in 1980, by students associated with the University of Wisconsin. It is a mosque that also runs a Sunday school for public school going kids. It organizes many socioreligious events such as feeding the homeless and other charity events.
