Pizza Pit

Excellent pizza and price! I got an extra large pizza with a coupon and some dipping sauces and was fairly impressed!

Excellent, pizza, never light on the toppings. Also gyros, sandwiches, and expected sides. Always hot when it arrives, and hotter when you get it yourself. Their soda is always ice/cold.nnThey used to be cheaper, a decade ago the prices were nearly comparable to the big chains, but their prices have increased while the big chains are selling their pizzas at the same price they were 15 years ago. They had a lot less competition a decade ago as well. When I order from them, I like to remember that when they were more successful, they passed their success on to their customers in the form of savings.nnTheir rewards program is pretty decent, and while their pizzas are definitely a bit pricy, their chicken/gyros/sides are very reasonably priced.nnI love that they’re still using the same promotional pictures that they did in the 80’s, before I was born. It brings me back to before the Patriot Act, smartphones, cameras at every intersection, targeted advertising, and all of the other wonderful gifts the previous generations have given us. We can never go back, I guess, but we can still get the same classic Madison Pizza Pit flavor.nnEdit: One thing I suppose I should mention is, back in 2017, they were pretty bad about ensuring the sauces are correct. I don’t know if that’s changed, Ive only ordered a few times since then due to relocation, but that year, it was a constant problem.nnBut remember, that’s the in-house guys! The driver is focused on getting you your order as fast and as hot as possible, they’re depending on the in-house guys to make the order accurate. In order for the in-house guys to be competent, they need to be experienced, so they need to be making enough to live and have job satisfaction so they stick around long enough to become experienced, and for them to be paid enough to live, the business must be making enough money... So when you knock some stars off your rating because they forgot your nacho cheese, you’re being a butt and hurting their business, discouraging future potential customers from patronizing them, negatively impacting their revenue stream, thus harming their ability to pay their in-house guys enough, thus reducing employee retention, thus increasing the future probability of forgotten nacho cheese.nnDon’t be a butt, keep your petty negative reviews to yourself, call the store and I’m sure they’d be happy to rectify the problem.nnRemember Itzza Pizza? Remember Gumby’s? Remember Rocky’s on E. Wash? (okay, that one... good riddance, I suppose). Madison used to have a plethora of cheap pizza options. Support your local businesses, or they won’t be there anymore.

Order a pizza for pick up on July 1st was told by the woman who took my order that it would be ready in 20 minutes. I show up in 20 minutes paid for my pizza and proceeded to wait another 20 minutes when I asked the woman why it was taking so long and her response was don't give me any attitude. Very unprofessional how I was treated. I will not support a business that there employees treat customer's with disrespect!! This was at the fiore location.

The worst gyro ever. I should have gotten pizza. Nine dollars pssst!
