I changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars. They certainly got better since reopening after the pandemic. I don’t know whether it’s because they have less patrons now, but I’m loving the changes. They have an awesome staff member now always cleaning and sanitizing everything. Also the front desk are more helpful and informative now.

Of the several years I’ve lived in Madison, I’ve tried out 5 different member-based gymnasiums, both locally owned and franchise; this Planet Fitness gets my highest approval for several reasons. Firstly, their foremost concern is the costumer, and this is obviously noticeable in the people they hire (I’m not always the most social person, but I am very receptive and the people who work here are so friendly, sincere, eager to help, and non-judge mental; which a part of this gym’s mission, and it shows). Actually, if I could rate a business on hiring people who truly reflect what that business’s values are, I would give them 5 stars for that as well!nStill in regard to my first point in customer care, I have to mention the response this business had to the COVID pandemic; absolutely wonderful! As we all dealt with no contact orders, they actually took the liberty to jump right out and provide online, at-home workouts immediately for no extra cost to customers; and the operations they have post re-opening are just as great, lots of information on how to protect oneself and avoid viral spread, social distancing is no effort because of how they’ve arranged things inside, and everything is VERY clean with no worry about no contact.nMy second reason has to be the gym itself; I think the east location is my personal favorite, but down to the detail Planet Fitness has high quality and equipment, with a really good variety of equipment and workout options, all with a really nice and modern design. There are actually FLOWERS in the locker room (such a nice and thoughtful touch! Shows they truly care about their business), the showers are awesome, they have overhead rain style and adjustable side shower-heads that someone really put a lot of thought into.nI could really go on, but it’s a review, not an article about the place, so if I can one more thing; AMAZING price! I have the larger membership that includes everything, and it’s still only around $20 a month with a very reasonable annual fee. If I weren’t aware I would honestly expect to pay quite a bit more and still tell you it’s a value! I believe they have memberships around $10 a month as well.nnSeriously, check this place out! I can’t speak for all their services, I haven’t tried them all, but I wouldn’t doubt anything else they offer.nnGreat job PF! ud83dudc4dud83dudc4d

I loved this gym. Sadly, I canced my membership. 1. Person on the treadmill with a mask on the chin. 2. Person on the stair master with mask on the neck. 3. Manager asking why I am canceling with a mask under nose. You need to do better. Anytime? Well, they are doing better. I won't be back.

Clean. Relaxed. And unlike others locations including my home branch the showers were available. Nothing like trying to get a work out in before work or an event and not be able to shower or have to drive all the way back to you’re apt. So, well done. Staff was kind and professional. Look forward to visiting again.

The staff was Incredible nice they keep the gym very clean,. they always were walking around picking up. Great price point for a gym. The only reason why I terminated my membership was because I moving to Tennessee and don't have a Plant Fitness in the town I'm moving too.
