I have been a member since May 2019. I used to rave about Pinnacle. However, I am very disappointed with how they have handled the pandemic and can no longer recommend this business.nnEach time I visit, there are members without masks and not sanitizing equipment after the usage. There have been positive cases from the gym, including fitness instructors and members.nnWhen I bring up concerns to the manager, he gets defensive and mentions they have done enough communication to get this out and downplays my concerns. Rather than coming up with solutions for me with my personal concerns, he suggests I go to the front desk, which is rarely staffed when I am visiting on various days and times. It is not a member's responsibility to go chasing staff or have to worry about contracting covid from visiting a gym.nnIf you are concerned about covid and seeking a gym that takes it seriously, look elsewhere!

My ongoing membership at Pinnicle Health and Fitness has enhanced my health and happiness in a multitude of ways! All of my Pinnacle instructors are very well-trained, and have helped me achieve and maintain a high level of fitness and overall wellness. And my Pinnacle friends have enhanced my life as well! I am very particular about cleanliness, and Pinnacle is above and beyond the big box clubs in maintaining a consistently clean environment.

I have been a charter member of Pinnacle fitness for some fifteen years. I don’t even know my starting date, but it was well before the indoor swimming pool was built. At that time, Pinnacle offered members a choice to upgrade your membership to a charter membership for x amount of money, and your dues would be locked in for life. In my case the dues are $39.00 per month. For my 15 plus or minus years of membership I have religiously been going to Pinnacle M-F from 2:00-3:00pm. I was heartbroken to hear that Pinnacle has restricted that time slot to a cleaning only - no members allowed due to the pandemic. I renewed my two year membership January 2020 and never would have had I known Pinnacle would close every week day from 2-3p. I have had numerous conversations with Pinnacle about this situation. Pinnacle did freeze my my membership for three months from June to August, but only for three months, not for the duration of the blocked time period I have used for fifteen years! The proof is members have a scan card we scan that log your visit. After contacting Pinnacle on 7-28-20 to ensure that the same cleaning schedule of 2-3 M-F was continuing, Pinnacle assured me that it was. I then told Pinnacle that I wanted to buy out of the contract but was told I could not because of a clause that a member can only buy out after they complete half of the contract term. Beware new member seekers of this contract and ask for a pandemic clause addendum because the Pinnacle contract protects Pinnacle and Pinnacle only! I am not a friend of Pinnacle anymore and would be much happier if Pinnacle would freeze my membership until the M-F cleaning that is done between the 2-3p hour is lifted, or I can buy myself out of the contract.

We have enjoyed Pinnacle over a number of years. The friendly, comfortable atmosphere welcomes you at the door; the cleanliness of the entire facility gives it a nice feel; the lap pool is one of my favorite places to finish my exercise routine, and the warm water pool option is fantastic when dealing with an injury or limitation—sometimes just a great place to do gentle exercise while visiting with a friend; and finally, the whirl pool, sauna, or steam room are a welcome reward at the end of the work out.

Pinnacle is a great gym. Both locations are wonderful, offering slightly different vibes. As someone with chronic pain, living in a cold place like Wisconsin is hard for me. Having access to the excellent spa and water therapy facilities ( sauna, hot tub, steam room, pools) of Pinnacle makes winter liveable. Always clean and well maintained, and the staff is generally very friendly and helpful, especially the people who've been there a while and the full time staff. It's never too crowded, though it does get really busy at certain times, but even then there are always machines available. I haven't done any classes or worked with any trainers but my husband has, and all of his experiences have been positive. It's definitely worth paying for the quality you get at Pinnacle.
