I'm brand new to martial arts and decided to start with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu because I have heard from many it's a very, very real and practical form of martial arts that can be used by people of all ages and sizes.nnTo be completely honest, I was VERY nervous about starting out. I was nervous about feeling like a newbie and being treated like I didn't know what I was doing.nnThe exact opposite was true. Everyone from the amazing instructors to the other students were very welcoming, supportive and can tell the community at Team Curran Madison is all about helping one another become better mentally and physically.nnI'm pushed, but at a reasonable rate and I have quickly seen my skills and abilities increase. I'm so excited and I'm feeling more confident and more fit.nnI wish I could give them an even higher rating.

Amazing! Extremely relaxed and friendly atmosphere of learning self-defense! Easy to understand if not questions are always explained fully. Ashley, Billie and many others that train there do an amazing job making sure you feel welcome and no pressure! I love that the first three sessions are free! So you can really know if you want to do this, and it seems to be cheaper than other places! There's no contracts! It's amazing Come As You Are and enjoy yourself :)

Amazing facility, even better people. This gym is family friendly and has lots to offer for all ages. If you're looking to train in BJJ this is the spot! Billie and Ashlyn are incredible coaches and Madison is lucky to have Team Curran here. If there were only an option to give 6 out of 5 stars... This place is 100% awesome.

My 4 year old daughter has been training at Team Curran Madison since she was 3 and absolutely LOVES it!! Owner/Coach Billie and his wife Coach Ashlynn, along with all the other teachers are absolutely fantastic at working with students of all ages. They are incredibly passionate about what they do- teaching not only the physical skills involved in martial arts, but life skills that help every student to be the best they can be on and off the mats. I'm thrilled that my daughter is learning to respect herself and others, while being active and having fun! I just can't recommend this school or its instructors highly enough!!
