Ordered the cheese stuffed pizza... I thought it was cheese stuffed crust, but instead I got an actual Chicago-style deep dish (not a big deal, we rolled with it). The crust was super thick and dry, there was pineapple on more than half :( and it made us extremely sick. There's an incredible about of spice in the sauce. We wanted to like it! Sorry :(
Cody and Bob...not only the best pizza makers around, but also sincerely good guys. They take the time to recognize, get to know, and appreciate their customers. A true asset to our community!
I had never tried it before, it was one of the few places open that would deliver to my work last week. Unfortunately they did not have a delivery driver. The manager called me with in minutes of placing my online order and told me I would be refunded and to place the order with eat street. I heard good things about the restaurant, so that's what I did. I was very impressed with the pizza. I placed a second order today. It did not disappoint. I will for sure order again!!!
They really have great pizza. No debate here. As for pickup, they could really do with a major technology upgrade for contactless pickup. Maybe some screens showing the countdown to when the pizzas are ready so people can avoid contact and allow employees to work on what's important instead of updating customers on their status. I want to be clear that I work in the restaurant business and this is the best pizza dough in Madison hands-down. The pickup experience however is quite bad and not all adapted for the covid-19 times we're living in. Hopefully they install some plexi glass, screens and include carside delivery ahead with an upgraded technology system.
Don't order from them--they won't deliver your food and won't tell you that they aren't coming. This is the second time in 3 months that I've ordered from them and then my food didn't show. I'd be very careful before ever ordering delivery from them again.
