Great place for hiking and snowshoeing.
Fun stop along a pretty but boring drive. Would recommend stopping just to take a look and break up what is a tedious stretch of road. There is a historical placard on site, and it's open to adventure around the site. If you have kids in the car or you just need to stretch your legs this isn't a bad place to do it.
This is one of the most tranquil places I have visited in Wisconsin. A nice spot to see.
Beautiful place, wish you could go inside them though.
