Loved the day, the room was awful! Dirty and gross

For a 2 star hotel you kind of get what you pay for. I completely believe everything that I've read from other people about it's cleaning standards and staff uselessness not being up to par. The last few times i was there i wasn't disappointed though. My husband and I had fun. The wilderness and kalahari are of course the best places to be but for 600$ for 4 nights is pretty ridiculous. Id rather pay 273 for 4 nights and still get to enjoy an indoor water park and the dells scene.

We always have fun! It was the first time we stayed at hotel Rome ( its nothing special) and I love the convenience of the main hotel. Close parking to the water park and stuff

We visited Mt Olympus this week. We stayed in building 5 and had 2 rooms for 8 people. I read a ton of reviews the night before and was scared to see what our rooms would be like. Check in was easy, but the staff weren't very friendly. Before unloading the cars we checked both rooms for bed bugs, and cleanliness. Our room could have used a good sweeping and maybe some air freshener but otherwise were pleasantly decent. The kids ages 1 to 20 all had a great time at the water park and theme park for the 4 days we were there. Building 3,4, and 5 make a u shape with a grassy area equipped with picnic tables, grills, and a swing set for the kiddos. We cooked on a small table top grill that we brought and enjoyed our evenings outside. My only complaint son the entire trip were that the beds and bedding were not comfortable at all, and nobody was friendly. We weren't there to make friends and actually keep to ourselves but an occasional hello, thank you, excuse me, would be nice! Even my teenage children commented that nobody was very nice and people just assume you will move out of their way or they attempt to walk through you... overall it was a great affordable trip with lots of fun for everyone! We will be back...
