When looking for an alternative to day care, a family friend recommended this school. Her daughter attended decades ago, had a wonderful experience and went on to excel academically. We took a tour, loved every minute, and were shocked it wasn't much more expensive than the sketchy day care facilities we'd been using. My daughter loves to arrive early to explore the expansive garden, full of seasonal flowers, plants, vegetables and fruits. She knows all of the varieties and, as a result, is always willing to taste/eat new things at home. They have two (2) resident sheep seasonally, there's an aviary, turtles, fish, etc. It's a beautiful environment that reinforces the interest and imagination of a child. From the garden, you walk through the lobby and are always greeted with a warm welcome by Roseanne. One of the most caring and accommodating people I have ever met, Roseanne always puts my daughter in a positive mindset to start her day. They have three (3) different classrooms, where kids learn to associate with different age groups. Older kids help the younger kids and the young kids prosper from the guidance. (Obviously, I encourage you to do your own research on Montessori theories and structure - and I will spare you from my own interpretations.) There is wonderful cultural diversity; and all children are taught to embrace everyone's individuality while realizing they are all equal. As an example, every year they have International Day. Each child dresses in a manner to celebrate their heritage, parents bring regional cuisine and the children conduct a performance. My daughter loves this school and loves the staff. Her development is clearly advanced versus, even much older, children from other programs. We feel so lucky to have discovered this school and we know we have provided an exceptional head start to our daughter's learning and development.

Very happy to find this preschool. Nestled under a huge old tree, beautiful atmosphere, small setting, wonderful teachers and staff members. Children are so calm and focused in their work. The director of this school spent sometime with Dr. Maria Montessori herself when she was a little girl, she is also a AMI Montessori Teacher trainer.

Wow... I cannot believe that no one has EVER written a review on this school. It has been around for more than 20 years and it has the BEST BEST BEST program I have ever seen or experienced! My wife is a product of Montessori overseas and she was very impressed. The school is a wealth of wonderful experiences and education for the growing children. The sensory garden and resident sheep bring so much patient joy and contentment while walking around. The children are so ready to succeed, read, write, math (including long division and multiplication) all at the age of 5 years of age! They learn in 4 different languages including - English of course, Spanish, Chinese and French. The school leverages the talents of its teachers to the utmost including the language, music etc. My Chinese neighbors were so impressed to hear my daughter sing in Mandarin and I was so impressed to hear her sing and speak in French. Other extracurriculars include Chess and of course Music. This school is what a true learning and education program should be. Best of all... they have a strong sense of values and morals too - non-denominational. God Bless them!
