This was an absolutely horrible experience. I was told that the bank would consider the history of the business I bought and ran me through the process. I waited about two weeks only to find out Brandon never did anything to work with me. I called and left a message and then only after that my credit was hit with a hard inquiry by Nicolet Bank. I received a call about 2 hours later from Brandon telling me he checked with underwriting and wanted to see a longer history of me with my company. After pressing Brandon he admitted he did nothing with my information and was just giving me an answer to go away. If you treat people like this who are not even with your bank, I would hate to see how you treat your actual customers. I went to US Bank and the process was smooth and they considered the business history and I now have another truck in my fleet to better service my customers.

Horrible bank. They have a stupid CYA policy. I took my neighbor, an 83 year old woman, to this bank because she had a check written by her niece to her that she had just gotten the night before and needed cashed that day. My neighbor even called the bank beforehand and was told she would need 2 forms of ID and there would be a $15 charge since she wasn't a member. OK, fine. Went there and she was told that since the check was over $200 they would have to call her niece to verify the check was written by her to prevent fraud.nnHer niece is a school teacher who is in class most of the day. I called and spoke to a manager, Brandon, who was just horrible to deal with. No empathy or compassion and wouldn't even consider making an exception. He even admitted the bank had her niece's signature on file to compare the check to but nope.nnThen I called the corporate office and of course all the managers were in a meeting. I explained the situation and that this 83 year old woman had no transportation to get to another branch, that she needed the check cashed that day and that I would be at work until well after the banks closed. Still no one was willing to make an exception saying it was bank policy to prevent fraud.nnHow do you expect to get ahold of most of your customers when they are at work? Not everyone can take calls at work. This is a stupid policy and it has nothing to do with protecting your customers, it is solely to protect your bank.

Great bank love the interest on checking account. Mobile deposit works excellent . Staff is always friendly and professional. Best bank I have had accounts with . Compares to any credit union I know of for customer service. I recommend to all my friends and family.
