We left Danbury WI and stopped in Spooner to get breakfast at McDonald's, but they had quit serving breakfast at 10:30 (lucky for us). So traveling down Hwy 53, we saw a sign for Nancy's, I called to make sure they were still serving breakfast and viola, they were! We both had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. The eggs were so fresh tasting and the biscuits were very big. The coffee was good too. The servers were very sociable and attentive. It was very laid back atmosphere. The meal was delicious! Will definitely put this on our list of great places for breakfast.

Worst breakfast ever. Not only was the coffee and food nasty, we waited a full hour before finally asking for the check. The waitress rolled her eyes at us and suddenly our food “magically appeared” and a different rude waitress put it down and said “we’re only human”. Yes, I totally get that, but a heads up that the kitchen was behind would have been nice. They put our check down with our plates and never came back. We just left the cash at the register because they didn’t look in our direction then either. I apologized to my husband because he said it looked like a dive and didn’t want to go there but I looked at the ratings and wanted to give it a shot. What a horrible mistake on my part.
