I fly here several times each year. Great small airport and well managed. I'll be back.

Great place to go for a cross country from Superior Wisconsin or Duluth Minnesota. They have a old police car for a courtesy car, just call for permission first. Watch out for deer on final at night just easier to do one or two low approaches. FBO is cozy a log cabin look. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. We like to fly from superior to go to Deep water in down town. Nice simple trip

As a pilot this was a great stop on a cross country trip. The terminal is a log cabin. The town is cute and hotels were nice. You do need a taxi to town. There is no self serve fuel, but a charming town on the lake.
