B&H Trout Fishing & Bait Shop

Was very pleased with the place! This is our second time returning here. The place is very well maintained and very tidy and clean. The ponds are clean and well taken care of along with all the great fish sitting in each pond. We caught lots of great sized Brooke trout and brown trout from the smaller pond and some great big rainbow trout from the larger. The store owner was amazingly nice and took great care of us and our catches once we were done. This place has been around for 26 years and will thrive for many more with the great hospitality and services at this family owned business. Highly recommend. Mask complainers. A little information from a local. First, there is a mask mandate from our Governor for the entire state of Wisconsin that states a mask must be worn when indoors anywhere. Now, I don’t agree with this mandate and I don’t wear a mask either and our local law enforcement isn’t enforcing this mandate. There are many businesses in and around the city of Wisconsin Dells that still do require you to wear a mask and some won’t let you in their store without one. I have known Chris for many years. She is a very caring and loving person. She is also very friendly to all of her customers if they are friendly and respectful to her. Whether you agree or not, which I happen not to as well, is not the point. She has a right to ask you to wear a mask in her store. If you disagree, simply tell her no thank you. I guarantee she will still treat you with respect and will not lose a customer because they refuse to wear a mask. Whatever you do, be kind and respectful and that same kindness and respect will be returned.

Very polite woman. Always explains pricing on trout fishing in the ponds. Most reasonable priced place. Will always go back to her for business. I highly recommend this place to trout fish and go to for any baits. Has live bait plastics lures or anything you may have forgot to pack. She has or may have different things people would like! Go check her out and try the trout fishing! Also really good smoked trout so worth the money.

Not recommended! Owner was not friendly, she was rude and not polite!! She wanted to force us to wear a mask when she wasn’t even wearing one, then she said because we are out of state it’s mandatory by law in WI, after investigating, that is not true, it was obviously that she was discriminated with us and we did not feel welcomed. She really needs to put a sign if she wants to make it mandatory for her store instead of making people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would recommend to stay away from this place, too many other beautiful options in this area to enjoy where you will be treated with dignity and with respect!!nn* I have a big family with 11 witness that can testify this is a real story! Owner needs to be humble and recognize she was not polite with us!
