We've been at this campground for 5 years. The owners are wonderful, helpful and always available for a quick response. The facilities and grounds are clean and kept up in great condition. There are lots of open areas for kids to play as well as events for the kids and adults.nnThe campers are very friendly and always helpful with each other. They have a great support system and help each other and look out for each other when needed. The campers here are friends for 12 months out of the year not just for the summer.nnThere have been issues with people coming into the campground that aren't residents here (as noted in other negative posts) but the residents have a created their own neighborhood watch program and take notice of anyone that doesnt have the proper identification on their vehicle. This ensures the residents that this as a private campground that we are able to move about the campground and feel safe. The owners and residents know and take care of each other so there is a strong feeling of being safe. The property is posted as private property and the residents here know each other and are very welcoming to new campers. The campers here are all seasonal, there are no overnight campers that can be disruptive and disrespectful of the property.nnThe residents operate as a positive welcoming community that come from a variety of backgrounds, ages, and diversity which just makes everyone feel welcome and that this is a safe place to be. Some of the campers have been here for a long time while others are experiencing their first summer.nnThe owners have taken the necessary precautions during this pandemic but still ensure we can enjoy our time here at the campground while still being safe.nnI totally recommend this campground as a family friendly campground.
We were camping nearby and wanted to take a quick look at this campground to see if we liked it better than where we were at. We liked the looks of it a lot but all of a sudden these people started screaming at us and their dog started barking at us. They told us it was a private campground and we said oh okay, sorry and proceeded to leave. One camper was very kind about it but the other lady kept screaming at us. I now see similar posts even from over a year ago with the same situation. I understand wanting your own space (we were over 6 feet away from them by the way) but there's something to be said about being civil and kind when interacting with others who are not from the area. Would not recommend.
We were looking for another campground seasonal and clearly did not see a sign that stated to check in. Some woman was rude and said the sheriff would be called and that we had to check in. For those who are not familiar with the policy they should have clear signs. I read a similar review so before an assumption is made we are those people maybe ask kindly and if you want only a certain population then put signs that are visible. We had a child with us and we do not raise her to treat others the way we were. Even better tell your residents to mind their own business and owners take care of your business. As a business owner I would never treat someone the way we were. Guess what you deter new business from that behavior. I would never recommend this place.
We are new to the rv life and decided to invest in a camper and site here. I couldn’t be happier with our decision. The campers here have been so friendly and helpful as we learn our way through our first full season. The owners are very welcoming and friendly also. They really care about the people who are here and go out of their way to ensure safety on their campground. I really appreciate everyone we have met here!
It only for seasonals...no campeping...great place
