This is our first time as seasonal campers, we were not sure if we would like to be in one place. But we love it here and will be staying for the foreseeable future. They have something going on every weekend, prices are fair, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. And being on the ATV route is an awesome bonus for us.
The office and flowers outside were nice. The check in lady was very sweet. The pool is well maintained and the bathrooms look like they have been updated. But the rest of the grounds were run down. You have to pay for showers. Most of the sites were filled with mud and small. By the second day our camper sank so far in the back from the mud hole that it was about half way off our blocks. This is NOT a family campground. I’m sure it’s fine for the ATV riders but the website pictures are very misleading. The wristbands were outrageously overpriced for worn-out inflatable games. It was so bad that we contemplated packing it in a day early and just going home. I’m sad to leave this review but wouldn’t want another family finding out the hard way that this isn’t the place it looks like online. It has potential but needs some TLC stat!
Myself with the wife and kids had a great time and the rental cabin was a perfect fit for 5 of us. Fun swimming and the giant slide was awesome. Jerry and Val were great hosts. The Live music was fun on Saturday night as we don't get out like we used to. LOL
We had a great time! Peaceful, beautiful setting in the pines with a nice pool and bathroom facilities. The pool could be open later but other than that we loved it! 4.5 stars
Rude rude rude and obnoxious owner that only cares about 1 thing and that is money. Over charged us not 1 time but twice on same wknd. Staff was annoyed that had to do their job to refund money and it was still screwed up. I only give this s 1 star rating because i cannot give it any lower. What you is an inaccurate as it usually is with you. I was not refunded $6.75. I was given $4.64. Im not upset about the money. I am not losing sleep about that. Its the fact of the matter. The 2nd overcharge was that day, the 1st time was when 1st called to make reservation and this was brought up. As for your star employee it was anything but. And it was not mary either. As for the incident. Yes that happened and you refused to hear why and what actually went on. The owner and i had discussed and taken care of the matter. You came up like a drunken sailor and i have witnesses and you know this. Your attitude was fully uncalled for and i cannot wait until you drive everyone out of the place and are forced to sell pr lose the business.
