Been camping here for years. Nice place.
Beautiful trails and scenery!! Great exercise too!!
Some great views can be seen here and photography opportunities. Trails are relatively simple in difficulty level.
Very well marked trails, wish ski area was opened again
3rd different way I have summitted ascutney. This by far has the most scenery and greenery along the way. Mostly deciduous growth with some steeper sections but a greuler for sure. Find it fascinating that this is just around 3000 vertical and does not crack 4000 feet. Mostly undisturbed foliage with a narrow footpath that is well marked and signed can even be done in the dark easily. $4 to park at the state park and you can get a map as well that is an accurate guide of how to get around ascutney.
