Fat biked with the girlfriend. We are both out of shape, so stayed in the greens and blues. If going up the Mile Field, stay to the left, and take the same side coming down(right). That side is more packed and does not zap the energy out of you like the fluffier grassy other side. Wish we had this tip before going up. We will be back. Hope this helps

Awesome trail system with a varying degree of difficulty and some great views
Pretty. Think self-service.
Ascutney trails is a hidden gem in east- central Vermont. You can park at either ski tow road or coaching lane( my favorite) and let rip on all the techy goodness. No charge, but buy a map at nearby Butcher pantry. They have food and good local beer too.nAfter shredding my legs for almost 3 hours, I really loved the town forest trails: cloud climbs 1 through 3, nimbus, Lynx, and cloud.nMan, these are some excellent trails.nGo check 'em out.
