We have previously visited the Wild Center at Tupper Lake. This is definitely a scaled down version. The wild walk is a great addition, but not very large. The raptors are fascinating to look at. Probably worth a couple hours. We drive past often enough that we bought the season pass at the cost of two visits- comes with two guest passes. Worth it for a nice playground, a quick hike, and some picnic tables on our trips from NY to NH.

Awesome place to visit! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the birds are beautiful. The new treetop walk offers spectacular views of the surrounding pond, and the tall tower is a little scary! Come prepared to wear a mask and follow the safety guidelines set by the institute. Staff is very dedicated to making your visit a safe one!

My 11yr old son and I were passing through the area, and made the excellent decision to stop and visit. This place adopts raptors and other birds of prey that can no longer fend for themselves in the wild, and it's awesome that these beautiful birds are given another chance at life. The store sells a lot of stuffed animals and other memorabilia, and there's a playground for the kiddos with a small climbing wall, a spiderweb net to climb on, a tunnel to crawl through, and a spider made of logs and a rock to climb on. Plenty of room to remain socially distant and still enjoy yourselves here. There are also forest canopy trails to enjoy, and this time of year, the leaves are changing, and it's beautiful out!

Great for kids to see owls and raptors up close. Treetop walk is easily accessible to all and is a really interesting way to view the surrounding area. If you like to hike plan on a couple of hours to go thru it all. Great place for family and kids.

Beautiful place to visit! The demonstrations couldn't hold my 2.5-year-old's attention, but older kids and adults would love them. The treetop walk and nature trails were a blast. We'll definitely be back!
