I had a wonderful retreat at The Empty Center this year. It was my second time coming with a group, and it was just as memorable as the first. Our group came all the way from Los Angeles. I appreciated being able to unplug. I kept noticing how stress-free I felt, without the need to check a phone, email or screen. I loved being able to take a walk/hike through the trees, without a well-worn trail - walking on and being in nature, just as it was intended. We loved waking up to the sound of the stream that flows through the property, dips in the pond throughout the day, and wonderful meals by our host, Eliza. With the charm and essence of Vermont, and the peace and serenity of nature - The Empty Center encompasses it all. Highly recommend.

Serene!! It was my first time visiting Vermont and The Empty Center met and surpassed every expectation I had about Vermont. Acres and acres of land rolling green hills and creeks and ponds scattered about make this place truly magical. I had the best sleep of my life there and felt safe, taken care of, and inspired! If you're looking for a retreat, definitely consider The Empty Center!

The Empty Center hosted a board retreat lunch for us with a delicious lunch including an amazing Mexican Hot Chocolate cookies and scones that no one could get enough of. They were so accommodating with the dietary restrictions and so very kind while hosting. The rural landscape was a beautifully peaceful location which made for an amazingly productive retreat. We will use their services again.

Having stayed in both the Farm House and The Garden House, I can only say that The Empty Center has become my family's private paradise. The fields, the food, the views, the pond, the kindness of the hosts. This is truly a gem. Will return over and over again.
