So beautiful. Very well taken care of and tucked away . It was easy to find and easy to get down to see. It isn't handicap accessible or anything like that. There is parking. I went on 11/30/20 and no one else was around

Hiking to Hamilton Falls is the best way to appreciate this natural area. Since the drive there is long and dusty and because there is enforced very limited parking, you'll likely need to turn around and drive back out. The best access, and the best way to appreciate the Cobb Brook gorge, is to park at the Jamaica State Park, walk along the old rail bed, and then up the trail above the brook to Hamilton Falls. This approach reveals just how deep into the gorge the top of the falls is, something lost to the unfortunate drive-in hikers who have fallen to their deaths from the top pool.

Great hike in! Flat 2 miles on gravel train trail, uphill the last mile through the trees. But the Falls left much to be desired in August. Colder than an ice bath, enough room for maybe 5 people (1 during COVID), and the water was barely flowing. We did two waterfalls in a weekend and definitely preferred the other to this! Also water wasn’t clear, very murky.

Great hike. We went in from Turkey Mountain Rd., which shaved 2 miles off of the walk. We used All Trails, and by following the loop, were able to shorten the hike for my young son and give us more time in the water at the falls. The pool at the top offered good views, and we got a kick from the small fish nibbling on our legs in the bottom pool. Great afternoon!
