I spent 23 years of my life in this town and Berg park is always a favorite to check out when visiting! The bathrooms were shut down (thanks Rona) and the porta-potty could use a little maintenance... This is a great time of year (spring/early summer/fall) for a walk in the park or a float down the river. Over on the Browning Pkwy side there are Prairie dogs that are so adorable to watch! We fed them organic kale, celery, carrots and lettuce (this is much better then the bread or junk food that some people feed them). Not that we should be feeding the wildlife but at least give them something healthy to munch on if you must. If you’re on the Browning Pkwy side, check out the Animal shelter. They are always looking for good dog walkers. All you need is an ID and who knows maybe you’ll find a new furry friend. This park is 13 acres and many people come and go throughout the day. Awareness of your surroundings is always the best option if you go alone. Bring a friend or two is a better option! Not that this park isn’t safe but it’s always better to be cautious.

My wife and I walk here often (great exercise) never a dull moment with the mule deer, the ducks and an occasional distant skunk.😳🙂

Great place to walk, run, exercise or explore. People walk their dogs or bike ride through. Two nice playgrounds and an exercise area at one of them near the water play are. They host a few events there like Riverfest and people selling art and what not. Pretty cool.

Love this place. Wish the city gave more funding for it
