I’ve shopped at this boutique many times over the years, spending well into the $1,000’s, and upon a recent visit, I was shopping with my newly-born 5month old son. I had him in a wrap, preventing me from trying items on, and purchased several things. When I got home to try the clothes on, one of the items didn’t fit. I didn’t think it would be problematic to return the item for store credit, keeping the money in the store, but apparently they only accept “Salaam” brand items as a return. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn’t have purchased as much as I did. I was not informed of that policy upon check out. I shop at other boutiques that carry the SAME exact brands as Salaam, and have never had an issue with returns. Needless to say, I will not be shopping here again.
Salaam boutique is a gift to Montpelier! For 20 years this shop has kept us in beautiful clothing and excellent customer service. I always find so many items I have to take home and the shopping experience is relaxing and wonderful!
Totally cute; down-to-earth sophisticated!
It’s a destination for me.....my go to place for fun fashion that is great for travel. The designs and colors are generally bold and beautiful. I always go to the Warehouse sales!
Clothes are extremely comfortable and the employees are a joy to be around.
