They were very kind over the phone, and even kinder when we went to pick up our order. The prices are great, the food is better! Wish we were from the area, because we would definitely be regulars here!!
We stopped here to pick up lunch while driving from New York to New Hampshire. This stop alone made us fall in love with Vermont and its people! You will love the experience from the moment you step through the door. This is a family-run restaurant and boy, do they make you feel like family! We LOVED all four people working and felt genuine care from them. We had to grab and run, but wanted to stay and hang out with them for an hour! And yes - the Italian subs we ordered were absolutely perfect! Generous toppings and size, great flavor, made with love. Great prices, great food, great menu, great people!

Delicious! They fill the sandwiches with fresh deli meats in nice, fresh rolls. Extremely nice folks working there who care! Definitely a hidden gem! They have a huge variety of sandwiches to offer! Go- you won’t be disappointed!!!!
My husband and I stopped in for lunch today with our very active toddler and we are so glad we did! The food was outstanding (I’ll be dreaming about the big robin tonight), but even more was the way everyone welcomed us like family. We’ll definitely come back to the Sandwich Shoppe next time we’re in Rutland!
