Another one of the must see Covered Bridges of New England. The Hammond Covered Bridge spans Otter Creek in Pittsford, Vermont. Built in 1842, there is room to park and take your pictures. The bridge is no longer in service, is in need of repair and regular maintenance. But the day we stopped in early September was such a beautiful day, Otter River reminded us of its beauty of days gone by. Plenty of parking off the main road nearby.
Kind of a mess. But great history.
Use to live close by and drove past all the time. Cool Geocache spot!
Nice spot for picnic , trains going by add a bit of life to the bridge park
