Came from out of town for the weekend. I was really impressed. y how the staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. It was really nice to have a workout inside since California gyms are shut down.
COVID procedures in place include wearing masks while working out, social distancing, and temperature checks.
I called to cancel my membership and was told to certify a letter and mail. I called a couple days later and was told I could walk in. I walked in and they said they were going to cancel it but we're going to take another 10.00 because I didn't cancel by the 11th and I said no one told me that she (daisy) told me I didn't cancel by the 9th...conflicting story. Either way I said cancel take the 10.00 and be done. They sent me an email saying it was canceled. My checking acct was comprimised so had to close it. PF was the furthest thing on my mind so when I called she told me I had a late fee of 15.00...more than my membership
I said they have my email why didn't they notify me of a problem...nope they would rather rip people off and had I not called they would have kept hitting it for 15.00 late fee every month
Now I know why people say PF is all about the money
Clean, professional, and helpful. And unlike a lot of places around town, they are taking many measures to protect against covid while avoiding limitation as much and as safely as possible.
When Planet Fitness decided to shut down I called and canceled my membership. First attempted locally then called corporate. I was told I would not be charged and they were uncertain how long they would be closed. Claimed it was canceled. I noticed thier fee had started over again through my bank I reached out and was told it has to be in person but requires masks> i refuse to enter businesses requiring masks and was informed they will not allow a cancel of over the phone by a rude af manager. The money doesn't matter but I do not like thieves. It may be cheap but you get what you pay for. congratulation PF this is my first bad review ever written
Very disappointed in lake havasu planet fitness. It's already overstepping my boundaries to mandate the mask in their building but I comply because I need their showers as i don't have one of my own. I am uncomfortable with the temperature gun to my head. There's much controversy on not only their safety but accuracy as well. I ask that they do my wrist as i feel it is too invasive and I'm uncomfortable with it to my head. They refused to accommodate me. I usually go to Kingman planet fitness and they accommodate me without issue. I am going to have to find a new gym. This one is just going too far with their Covid rules.
