I am a dedicated gym and fitness person. At age 61 I'm in great shape as a result. I've lived, worked or traveled in 15 different countries all over Asia Pac, EU and N. America since 2002. Every time I travel somewhere, the first thing I look up is a good gym nearby my hotel. I've used about a dozen different gyms over the years dating back to the 1980's. The Anytime Fitness in Lake Havasu City is one of the best I've ever used. Highly recommended. I've also used the Anytime Fitness gyms in St. Petersburg FL and Boulder City NV. They are also very good. EOS and 24 Hr are also solid, good gyms.
It is really nice more than I expected. I'm happy it's there since the other one I was going to go to closed.
This gym seemed very well-kept at first; however, I have been going here for more than 5 years and the standards for cleanliness and properly working equipment has slipped. The only reason I remain a member is because they have one piece of equipment that no other gym in town has. In a gym environment, cleanliness and functional equipment is crucial. I do hope they address these issues.
The manager is very efficient and a pleasure to talk to....
Really bummed that they closed the showers. The showers are open at the Flagstaff location. What's the difference?
