Had the best most relaxing, healing time. From before even arriving, I had all my questions answered promptly. Warmly greeted and explained everything I'll need to know with great suggestions of things to do and places to visit. Very engaged and kind and friendly owners who clearly put their heart into this place and truly care about the quality of a person's stay. I stayed in one of the cabins and it was clean, organized, with everything I could need for the weekend, including a cute little welcome basket with a note from the owners.. the property is quiet and beautiful. The surrounding nature is gorgeous. A few trails really close by to hike, Queechee Gorge not too far also which I went to see and it was beautiful. Very kid friendly as well. I will definitely be coming back with my niece!! Definitely worth it.nIgnore any negative reviews from the past as this campground is under new ownership since April 2020 and from what I read in some previous negative posts, none of those things are true today under these guys.

Never been here before and pleasantly surprised by how clean the campground was and the facilities were always clean and ready for use. Nice safe area for the family. We stayed for 3 months as a traveling nurse. Very quiet and owners were great and helpful with our schedules and anything we needed. I wish more campgrounds were to this standard. I recommend stopping in and staying the weekend or the season. Thanks Mike and Jess. We hope to come back sometime.

We’ve been traveling in our motor home for about 5 weeks. We left Reno, NV, and have stayed in many RV/campgrounds. Rest ‘n nest has been our absolute favorite. We’ll make special plans to visit Jessica and Michael again in Vermont. They are new owners of the camp with a lot of enthusiasm and they promote a great family atmosphere. While social distancing, they pulled off a bonfire and a chili cook off. We had a great time. Thank you! Mary & Randy

We had a great weekend at Rest-N-Nest Campground! We had never been but we camp often and the new owners were so accommodating for families. There's a great playground, beautiful scenery, evening bingo games, and Sunday morning coffee and cinnamon buns. Plus the facilities were super clean! We plan to go back next year!

Jessica and Mike where great host! We where stuck without a campground before our reservation and one call to them and they accommodated us. Everything is clean and well maintained. Owners very engaged with campers and making sure everything was perfect.nnVery close too many amenities but you are surrounded by woods while camping. Can spend quiet time there or within 20 minutes in downtown Woodstock, Quechee gorge and beautiful scenic drives.nnCannot wait to go back
