I’ve had a few bad experiences with Marcoux towing. The police were called because someone was sleeping in my car. I was told by police that if I paid $150 to Marcoux towing, they wouldn’t tow my car. I had to borrow the money from someone because I didn’t have cash right then and there.nThen, I’ve heard they charge nearly $300 to collect belongings out of your car if it’s towed.nSteer clear of Marcoux Towing if you can, they’re not understanding people to say the least.
Wrecker guy hooked up the tow hook to the sway bar link and CV shaft on my girlfriends car when pulling it out of the ditch. I told him to hook it to the sub frame to prevent damage. Since he connected it to the CV shaft I had to replace that and the sway link. Costing me $140 besides the $100 just to pull her out of the ditch. The car did not sustain any damage when it slide backwards off the road, but after the tow truck pulled the car onto the side of the road, he did not let the boom down to lessen the angle on the cable, therefore damaging the bumper. I am very unsatisfied with this piss poor job. There isn't any excuse why he should of been that careless. 24 Hr services are just that 24hr, so time of towing should not have made it any more inconvenient. Thank for the damage.
