Colored birdhouses everywhere and dinosaurs in the trees.
A charming bit of Americana. It's worth the detour for the 5 or 10 minutes to see the rainbow of birdhouses. The dinosaurs hidden in the marsh grasses are a fun bonus. There are also pretty views on the opposite side of the road, looking across the widest part of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains in the background.
I figure I'm not alone. But this is a must see! And pick up your own bird house while you're there.
This is a quaint spot to visit as it is right on White’s Beach in South Hero on Vermont’s Champlain Islands. The forest is unique and colorful. Oh, please do not feed the dinosaurs.
It is a beautiful little wooded area alond the shore of Lake Champlaign. LOTS of birdhouses in beautiful colors.
